Ingredients

  • 1 Medium Red Onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 300g Lean Lamb (cubed)
  • Salt and Black Pepper (To Taste)
  • 2cm pieces Fresh Ginger (peeles and finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Medium Curry Powder
  • 1 Medium Green Pepper (chopped)
  • 1 Small Chilli (Chopped)
  • 1 cube Lamb Stock
  • 1 tin Chopped Tomatoes
  • tin Fresh Coriander (To Garnish)

TIP:  Ensure you cook out the spices for a mellow flavoured curry

Directions

Step 1
Preheat a non-stick pan. Dry fry the red onion and crushed garlic until the onion is lightly browned.
Step 2
Add the lamb and cook until sealed then season with salt and black pepper
Step 3
Add the fresh ginger, garam masala, medium curry powder, green pepper, small chilli and cook mixing well before adding the lamb stock cube and the chopped tomatoes
Step 4
Cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes until the lamb is tender and the sauce reduced
Step 5
Serve with rice garnished with fresh coriander

Once you have tried these home made chilli beef burgers you will never want to eat a mass-produced burger again! The great advantage of our home made burgers is that you can make them as big and as thick as you like as well as in any shape you desire. By experimenting with the ingredients you can create a burger with so much flavour that it will leave other burgers languishing behind!

Ingredients

  • 500g Minced Beed
  • 1 Small Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 cube Beef Oxo
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Hot Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Mixed Herbs
  • Vegetable Oil

Step 1
Put minced beef in a bowl

Chop the onion
Step 3
Add the dry ingredients and the onion to the minced beef and mix altogether with your hands so the mixture comes away from bowl like making pastry
Step 4
Flour a board and then make a large ball with the burger ingredients and put on the board then cut into 4 equal parts
Step 5
With a bit of flour in your hands roll each quarter until you have a ball shape then flatten with the palm of your hands until you have a burger shape, about 1/4inch thick
Step 6
Fry with vegetable oil on both sides to whateve taste you like then serve with chunky homemade chips and a side salad

Can be frozen individually so can use when need to

Ingredients

  • 250g Braising Steak (cubed)
  • 1 Large Onion (sliced)
  • 2 Large Carrots (sliced)
  • 1 bulb Garlic (Crushed)
  • 1 glass Red Wine
  • 1 cube Beef Stock
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 bag Bouquet Garni
  • 1 bag Baby New Potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Corn Flour
  • Salt and Black Pepper (To Taste)

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 160C
Step 2
Put the large chunck of beef in a plastic bag with the cornflour, salt and pepper and shake so that the beef is well covered
Step 3
Remove the meat from the bag and seal the meat then remove the meat from the pan and set aside
Step 4
Add the onions, carrots and garlic and stir fry for a few minutes
Step 5
Add the wine
Step 6
Add the beef stock cube and the sugar and bouguet garni
Step 7
Transfer all the ingredients and the meat into a large pot
Step 8
Cook for 1½ hours
Step 9
Remove from the oven and add the baby potatoes give a stir then put back into the ovenfor 45mins
Step 10
After 45mins add the frozen peas and cook for a further 45mins then serve
